Talk therapy has a limited capacity to bring about the deep resolution of traumatic experiences such as childhood neglect, trauma, and sexual abuse and requires the incorporation of advanced interventions specifically capable of changing how our past is stored in our nervous system. Attachment-Focused EMDR, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Internal Family Systems, and other Ego-State therapies are revolutionizing the treatment of trauma. I am the Founder and Director of the Trauma Training Institute at Northwest Nazarene University, where I coordinate the Clinical Mental Health track of our graduate program in Counselor Education.  I bring 40 years of clinical experience and advanced training to the resolution of trauma related symptoms.
